None of the following images are of real, physical places. They are composited from elements from the thousands of pictures I took in Iceland. My images are not photographs in the traditional sense, but lie somewhere between photography and painting. They are my way of celebrating the true beauty of our natural world; the light and the darkness. Because they don’t document real locations they are more open to imaginative and emotional interpretation on the part of the viewer.
